Forklift Packaging Guide

The Forklift Packaging Guide was developed to help employees at Kapco Metal Stamping quickly and accurately select the correct packaging, or “dunnage,” for each customer’s specific requirements. With varying quality standards and frequent challenges around packaging availability, the guide serves as a centralized, easy-to-use resource outlining each dunnage type, its use, associated customer, and approved alternatives.

Spanning over 100 pages and developed over the course of three years, this project required close collaboration with the shipping department to ensure accuracy, usability, and consistency across all operations. The final guide was distributed both digitally—via displays mounted on forklifts—and as printed, spiral-bound booklets, creating a standardized solution that improved efficiency and reduced errors in a fast-paced environment.
